According to the report, the Potala ticket has to be booked in advance from May to October. Because the peak season of Tibet tour is coming. There are large numbers of tourists traveling to Tibet everyday. For example, almost 6000 people from home and abroad traveled to Tibet in the May Day.

The work time is from 9:00 to 17:00 per day. The tourists should provide the available certifications such as ID card.

Tourists are suggested to enter the Potala Palace from the eastern gate with 30 minutes in advance.

Now, the peak season of Tibet tour is coming. More and more tourists from home and abroad visit Tibet since May. For a better service for tourists, the advanced facility is coming to use for providing the Potala Palace tickets as soon as possible.

In consideration of the environment of Potala Palace, it is acceptable to enter the Potala Palace per day within 4000 people.
