The largest hydro-power generating units of the world have been transported to Jinsha River board from Three Gorges since the 30th of March, 2012.

In next 10 days, the largest hydro-power generating units will be antidromic along Yangtze River. It will navigate about 700 kilometers away to arrive the hydropower station in Jinsha River.

The turning gear is the key part of the hydro-power generating. The diameter is 10 meters and more than 4 meters in high, more than 400 ton in weight. The hydro-power generating consists of three parts. It is one of the most high technology products.

Due to transfer the hydro-power generating to Xiangjiaba hydropower station, the traffic units used huge tow car and the flat car, besides the traffic police department.

The Xiangjiaba Hydropower station covers a large area. It has more than 120 large and small grottoes. It was constructed more complicated than other factories.

There are respectively four 800 million kilowatt generator unites on both sides. The individual generator has the largest capacity of the world.

Three Gorges Project – Introduction

Three Gorges Project is 3035 meters long and 185 meters high. There are 14 hydropower stations on the left bank of Yangtze River. On the other side of Yangtze River, there are 12 hydropower stations. The total number of hydropower stations is 26. When the gross installed capacity of the small wheel generator sets is 18.2 million kilowatt, the generated energy of a year will be 84.7 billion kilowatt.

The permanent navigation buildings are built on the left bank.
