Boat Tracker History in Ba State

Shennong Stream belongs to the Ba State. Ba people are good at fighting. When Zhou Dynasty united, the Ba area was awarded as the Ba State. After the establishment of Ba State, the boat tracker once helped soldiers to cross the Shennong Stream.

After the establishment of Chinese Communist, the boat trackers of Three Gorges (includes Shennong Stream) are fight with the capitalists with other minorities together such as Tujia Minority, Miao Minority.

At the beginning of 1928, boat trackers help soldiers to kill one official of capitalists to build the new county Party committee of Chinese Communist.

In August 1938, boat trackers have been organized a group of team to transform the military material by little boat.

In August 1944, the boat trackers and the little boat have been respectively organized four groups of team to join in the war.

In March 1949, more and more boat trackers joined in the team to help liberation army to cross Yangtze River by boat.

In 1956, boat trackers began to work in the transportation.
