In South Song Dynasty, in Sichuan Province, the agricultural acreage is up to 900000 hectare. The average plant rate of people is about 10.7%.

Anyway, it is partial of the influence on forest coverage. There was an important port during Tang-Song Dynasty, which proves the riverbed is wide enough.
