On the 18th February, a kind of Tibet festival has been held in Sera Monastery. The Tibet festival called "Sera Bengqin". The miraculous Vajra (a kind of weapon stand for the wisdom and power) has been used by the Living Buddha of Sera Monastery for blessing people. People line up in Sera Monastery.

Sera Bengqin means the "festival of Vajra of Sera Monastery", and it is the unique religious festival of Sera Monastery. It has a long time history with more than hundreds of years. On the 27th December every year, as the last great religious festival before the Tibetan New Year, tens of thousands of Tibetan Buddhists will come to Sera Monastery for praying. Tibetan people would like to get the best wishes of next year by the Vajra.

According to the information, the Vajra of Sera Monastery was introduced to Tibet from India at the ending of 15 century. After that, it was introduce to Seara Monastery by one of the Buddhists. And then, on the 27th December every year, it will be used for blessing people.
