The twin dragons changed to two monks. They help people to clean their spirit which was controlled by the monster on the pretext of curing the disease. They ask people to eat the medicines such as zinnober, pearl, and seaweed, besides they teach people the incantation. After the curing, more and more people return to normal and more and more people began to know the two monks.

Wangliang, the monster who is living along the East China Sea heard of that, and send the followers to investigate. They are the monsters of crocodile and frog.

The monster of frog persuades the monster of crocodile to change to the appearance of patient. The monster of frog finds that the two monks (twin dragons) are from the heaven. But he didn't tell the monster of crocodile the truth. The monster of crocodile shows his true body to fight with the dragons but failed. And then the monster of frog runs away.

After that, the Wangliang throw down the gauntlet to the twin dragons with 50-thousand monsters but finally failed too. Before they died, the Wangliang and other monsters gathered two lines of fire to burn the fields, forests and mountains. Due to protect people, the twin dragons changed to two rivers fight with the two fire lines.

After some days of fighting, the two fire lines were drove out and the two dragons become the two rivers in ground. And that's the origination of the legend of the Yangtze River and Yellow River.
