Chit Method of Payment

There is no cash flow aboard Yangtze Victoria Cruises. For any purchases, you may simply sign a chit, and present your room key. It will be added to your final bill, which may be settled the final nights or day on board. Payment may be made in any major currency, including Chinese Renminbi (RMB), all major credit cards, and travelers' checks.

For incidentals and gift shop purchases, Yangtze Victoria Cruises accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express.

Money Exchange

Yangtze Victoria Cruises provides a money exchange service on board for various currencies to be exchanged into Reminbi (RMB), China's local currency.

Service Charge

In lieu of tipping, Yangtze Victoria Cruises charges a service charge of RMB 150 or approximately US$23.50 per person for cruises of 5 days and under, and RMB 300 or approximately US$47.00 per person for cruises of 7 days and over. This service charge does not include a gratuity to our river guide or cruise director, or for any additional special services, which may be offered at your discretion.

Guests' satisfaction is Yangtze Victoria Cruises' highest priority. Any service issue should be communicated to Yangtze Victoria Cruises' director, so that they can address it in timely manner. Should any service concerns not be met to your satisfaction, the service charge can be adjusted by Yangtze Victoria Cruises' Director at time of disembarkation.

Depending on river conditions, alternate excursions may be substituted as follows: Day 2: Wanzhou; Day 3: Shennong Stream.
