Only Victoria Sophia arrives and departs between Chongqing Municipality and Shanghai Municipality along Yangtze River of Yangtze Cruise.

Chongqing – Shanghai Downstream 7 Days / 6 Nights

Day1 Depart Chongqing / Fengdu Ghost City

10:00am: Sail today from picturesque Chongqing. Take a shore excursion to Fengdu Ghost City, visiting either the "Ghost City", known for its statues of ghosts and devils on Mingshan Hill, or the new relocation village, built for families who have moved as a result of the Yangtze's rising waters brought about by the Three Gorges Dam. Day2 Enter the Three Gorges / Daning River "Lesser Gorges" / Ship locks

Enter the Three Gorges, one of nature's most extraordinary sculptures. Qutang Gorge is the shortest (5 miles), narrowest (500 feet), and most dramatic. The 25-mile long Wuxia Gorge is known for its quiet beauty and forest-covered mountains. Take an excursion through the Daning River Lesser Gorges, which are narrower than the Three Gorges, but very impressive. (Depending on river conditions and alternate excursion may be substituted to Shennong Stream, which has its own attractive gorges.)) In the evening, sail through the Three Gorges Dam ship locks. Day3 Three Gorges Dam / Yichang

Morning visit to the Three Gorges Dam Xiling Gorge; it is the largest dam in the world. (B/L/D

Day4 Wuhan

Have an excursion of Wuhan, Capital of Hubei Province in the afternoon. Visit the Hubei Provincial Museum. (B/L/D)

Day5 Mt. Huangshan

Full day excursion to Mt. Huangshan ("Yellow Mountain)", one of China's most famous mountains ranges. Travel to this royal retreat through some of the country's most scenic rural areas. (Mt. Jiuhuashan or "Mountain of the Nine Lotuses" may be substituted weather or road conditions do not permit a visit to Mt. Huangshan.)(B/L/D)

Day6 Nanjing City

Visit Nanjing, where you will tour the Sun Yat-sen Memorial and a Qing Dynasty style bazaar surrounding a Confucian Temple. (B/L/D)

Day 7 Arrive at Shanghai

8:00 am: Arrive at Shanghai, China's dynamic international commercial center. (B)
