Chongqing Cuntan Bounded Port

Around 8 o'clock pm on the 14th December 2011, the second phase of the project of Chongqing Cuntan Bounded Port has been approved by Customs Bureau.

In November 2008, the Cuntan Bounded Port of Cuntan of Chongqing Municipality has been approved by the State Council, which is the only one Bounded port in boo-ay of China. Chongqing Cuntan Bounded Port is also the one of "Water Port and offshore Airport" with a total coverage area of 8.37 square kilometers.

Chongqing Cuntan Bounded Port has been constructed with two phases which the fitst phase has been completed in May 2010.

With the local traffic advantage of Yangtze River, Chongqing Cuntan Bounded Port is aimed at promoting the development of transmodality. It is also apply itself to be the best maritime centre with the most complete functions, the most favorable policy and the most exoteric of the upper reaches of Yangtze River.
