Baiyun Lake

Baiyun Lake located in Bishan prefecture of Chongqing Municipality with a coverage area of 50 square kilometers. Baiyun Lake named from the cloud stripe on Buddha's clothing in Foyin Temple and the cloud stepped on by Avalokitesvara dressing white clothing in Yunju Temple. Thus Baiyun meant white cloud in Chinese.

Baiyun Lake - Attraction

Baiyun Lake impressed people of on its different scenery from different directions. Lonyin Mountain looks like a natural Sleeping Buddha when you look squarely, but the majestic mountain also looks like a flying phoenix from the left direction. If you look at it the front horizontally, Baiyun Lake looks like a dragon speeding across the sky. Probably you will have your particular impression on Baiyun Lake when you visit there.

Baiyun Lake is surrounded by dense forest and full of rare wild animals such as goat, hedgehog, yellow weasel, owl, oriole, the cuckoo, hoopoe, egret, and thrush etc. There are also full of various plants and flowers bloomed in different season.

Many interesting rocks that are shaped strange and karst caves surrounded Baiyun Lake, containing natural attractions of peaks, lakes, ponds, islands, waterfalls, steep cliffs, strange rocks, dense forests, mist, sunrise and sunset glow etc.

Baiyun Lake – Scenic Spot

Mingyue Village

Mingyue Village situated at east of Baiyun Lake with a coverage area of more than 2500 square meters, containing amusement facilities such as Song and Dance Hall, Coffee House, Teahouse in Wood gallery and a suit of rooms etc.

Bamboo Resort

Bamboo Resort situated at west of Baiyun Lake with a coverage area of 2000 square meters. Bamboo Resort attracted people with its style of classical garden architecture, decorating the green tiles on the roof. It is famous as dense bamboo surrounded by.

Red Lantern Farm

Red Lantern Farm located in front of Hushan Mountain in the east of Baiyun Lake. The quadrangle courtyard in the Red Lantern Farm was constructed with an area of 2000 square meters. Due to its unique architecture style, Red Lantern Farm is warm in winter and cool in summer, which surprised you the feeling forgetting the season outside.

There are some auspicious decorations meaning the good fortune decorated on the ridge, more than 28 red lanterns are hanging under the roof that succeeded from the ancient Chinese farmer custom. Jiukong Bailong Bridge

Jiukong Bailong Bridge located at the axile wire of Longyin Building of Baiyun Lake. It stretches across the Baiyun Lake with 90 meters in long and 8 meters in wide, about 9 meters in high. Both sides of the bridge were carved the dragons while rare fowls and strange animals, exotic flowers and herbs decorated on the balustrade. Jiukong Bailong Bridge is the one with the most number of dragons carving in China.

Fengyu Bridge

Fengyu Bridge was constructed on the bank of southwest of Baiyun Lake with 50 meters long and 3.8 meters wide, in height of 8 meters. Fengyu means wind and rain in Chinese. Thus this bridge is probably the good scenic spot for enjoying the scenery.

Peach Blossom Island

Peach Blossom Island named from the hundreds of peaches planting on the island with a coverage area of 2000 square meters. Peach Blossom Island also named "Jinyin Hill" because of the shape of the golden seal that found in a ancient tomb.

Foyin Temple

The halls of Foyin Temple enshrine and worship the Buddha Statue with magnificent and peculiar layout. Foyin means the place is protecting by Buddha.

Ancient Gate of Ba State

Gugu Temple Waterfall

The waterfall is 10 meters wide flying downward from the cliff of 20 meters high. There is a stone hole of 3 meters wide and 2 kilometers long on the left of the waterfall, in which preserved large numbers of treasures.
