Yulong Mountain National Forest Park – Brief Introduction

Yulong Mountain National Forest Park, the wonderful and magnificent place, situated at the southeast of Dazu Country of Chongqing Municipality and lay on the slope of brand of Bayue Mountain of Huayun Mountain (located in Sichuan Province). It is 250 kilometers away from Chengdu city and 82 kilometers away from Chongqing Municipality, which covers a total area of 3517.39 hectares. Yulong Mountain located in the subtropical moist monsoon climate zone with an annual average temperature of 16.8 C; the forest coverage is up to rate of 92%.

Yulong Mountain National Forest Park comprised of abundant resource of natural landscape and cultural landscape. It is a series of tourism system containing dense forests, picturesque peaks and rocks, magnificent lakes, hot springs, rare plants, religion culture relics, grottoes and local specialty and other functions of entertainment, science research, business meeting and sports etc.

Actually, Yulong Mountain is one of scenic spots in Dazu Tour. There are other scenic spots like Dazu Grottoes, Dazu Longshui Lake, True man Show Counter-Strike.

Yulong Mountain consists of four scenic spots: the Black Bamboo Forest Primeval Scenic Spot, Sanqing Cave Scenic Spot, Zen and Bamboo Scenic Spot and Longshui Lake.

The picturesque mountains link together like a whole mountain range. The southeast mountains are full of natural charming where always spread amazing legends, and the northwest of mountains are full of slopes and steep cliffs. The total layout of Yulong Mountain National Forest Park emerges three distinctive parts, natural precipices in the upper part, gently in the middle and ravines cross in the under part. When you have an overlook from far, it is like a shape of a dragon. The park is also known as its rare kinds of flora and fauna, Shaluo plant – which is highly protected by our nation, primeval forest full of highest trees, a well preserved subtropical evergreen broad-leaved forest, pines forest and forest maze. There are other famous landscape like eagle rock, One-Line-Sky (a place is allowed one person through only and a little range of sky when you look up), mystical Zhu Jiagou.

The crystal clear water here reflects the conjoint mountains ashore and thousands of birds come and go. Don't u think it is a true heaven of the world?

Besides natural scenic spot, there are a large numbers of cultural landscapes which hold numbers of miraculous legends, containing Sanqing Cave which shows Taoism Style, Catholic Church, and Ancient Temples which called Buddhist Shrine etc. If you are a pious religious believer, you will find some same feeling here.
