Dazu Hot Spring also called sulphur spring, the water wells up 6000 cubic meters per day. It is one of the high temperature natural hot springs of Chongqing Municipality with a high temperature of 60 C at the mouth of the well. The water contains such good minerals and trace elements like calcium, magnesium, ferrum, sodium, potassium and sulphur that are considered as having beneficial medicinal properties. Dazu Hot Spring is also the only one hot spring beside the lake at southern China.

The full name of Longshui Lake is Longshui water conservancy scenic spot, which is a man-made lake constructed in 1950s. Longshui Lake is about 40 kilometers away from the world cultural heritage - Dazu Grottoes and is 5 kilometers east from the Longshui Town which called the hardware township.

Longshui Lake covers a total area of 10 kilometers which contains over 5300mu lake area. The lake consists of varied of 108 islands and full of limpid water, which contains the original ecological environment.
