Brief Introduction

According to the Tibetan Legend, wearing Dzi Beads can prevent mass formed by blood stasis and curse the disaster as well as hurt of the planets and the eight races of non-human entities described in Buddhist cosmological text. Dzi Beads just likes a hamlet, being able to supply the amulet, add awesome virtue, gain the will of people and get admiring, at the same time, it may add to your wealth and power. The patterns of Dzi Beads are originated from the mysterious incantation with no textual research. There are five shapes altogether, including the round (preventing the disaster), square (bringing profit), triangle (subduing), half-moon (Gouzhao) and Lianhua (respecting).

Once they find the worm, they should grasp a hand of sand to spray over the worm and it would turn into Dzi Beads. If they didn't spray the sand on the worm, it would disappear in a moment. If the Tibetan people get lots of Dzi Beads while digging, they would say that they have found a worm hole. While unearthed, the Dzi Beads are live worms, and after some time of wriggling, they would stop and solidify into Dzi Beads.

Vajravarahi dorje phakmo, the one with great achievements in Tibet, gave off the Dzi Beads for the removal of pestilence. Wherever the Dzi Beads was, the pestilence there disappeared.

Before the Buddhism was introduced to Tibetan, the masters of Ben Religion, gathered at the utsava, wearing cloth made from cranium, practicing Buddhism or Taoism in the city of dead, till one day, the Dzi Beads fallen from the sky.

In the ancient times, Tibet was an ocean with billows dashing against the sky, been called the ancient Mediterranean or Tethys. Dzi Beads used to be the plankton in the sea, just like the cowry and sea snail, with outer skin and body, being able to move freely. Finally, as a result of the mountain folding of Himalayas, and became the land, thus the plankton were dead with no water, and the outer skin of which became the Dzi Beads.

The rough of Dzi Beads is a special Indian stone, been painted with colorful patterns by a couple on the Himalayas, and restored as Dzi Beads at last. It is very hard to paint the pattern and not everyone can learn, since the couple dead, the technology was passed on.
