Scenic Spots of Bayi Town

At Bayi Town, there are many famous scenic spots, Xiapudongbing, Rijimucuo Lake and Giant Berlin. 40 kilometers southeast of Bayi Town, there is the Bangna Village, where grows a mulberry King, with an age of more than 1600 years. The mulberry has a height of 7.04 meters and diameter of 13 meters. It is said to be planted by Songtsen cadres and Princess Wen Cheng. Bajie Village, more than 10 kilometers away from Bayi Town, grows some precious and special cypress trees, which covers 10 hectares. They are also called the Tibetan giant cypress, among these trees; one is well-known as the King of giant cypress and alive cultural relics, with the Height of 50 meters, diameter of 58 meters, at the age of 2500 years old. Heading western ward, going through Pula, then you will get to the convergence of Brahmaputra and Niyang River. The river is board and looks like a mirror. You may travel by ship, with a downstream of 50 kilometers, and then you will get to the starting point of Brahmaputra Grand Canyon, Milinxianpai County.
