Furong Cave is located on the bank of Furong River 4 kilometers from the town of Jiangkou, Wulong County and was found in May 1993. The cave has been twice prospected by the Chinese and Australian research team. They appraised the cave as the world wonder and first-class cave attraction. Its main cave is 2,700 meters long, covering an area of 37,000 square meters. The Glory Hall, covering an area of 11,000 square meters, is the biggest and the most spectacular one. The cave scenery consists of about 30 different kinds of stalactities. Especially, the 15 meters wide, 21meters high stone waterfall and screen; palm-shaped, jade-like stalagmites; starry curling stones and stone flowers which is rare elsewhere. The texture of the stalagmites is delicate and pure. What's more, the red coral and the dog- tooth shaped calcite are very precious. Because of the secondary chemical deposition which formed a dozens of dazing landscapes.
The main attractions are: Splendid Palace, Leifeng Pagoda, Jade-like pillars and flowers, Underwater Dragon Palace, Giant Stone Screen and Waterfall, Coral Pool etc.
