Brief Introduction of Xiannu Mountain

The Xiannu Mountain (Fairy Maiden Mountain) is located in Shuanghe Village, Wulong County, 35 kilometers to the county. The mountain is so named because one of the peaks looks like a dancing fairy maiden. Xiannu Mountain National Forest Park covers an area about 100 square kilometers with 1, 900 meters above sea level and annual average temperature 20 °C. It is called "Eastern Switzerland" due to its unique alpine grasslands, blanketed plain and forest.

The Attractions of Xiannu Mountain

The major attractions and tourist facilities are: Lion Rock, Xiannu Stone, Site-Memorial of Red Army, grassland, boundless forest, Tent Village, Hot Pot City, and Hunter Village.

Moonlight Gate lies under the Xiannu Rock in the east coast of Wujiang River, Qingshui Village, Wulong County. It gets its name from its shape. Gaze from a distance, it resembling a full moon in the sky.

Transportation of Xiannu Mountain

Take bus at Chongqing Nanping Bus Station to Wulong County and transfer to Xiannu Mountain.
