The Sichuan Opera Kara OK Saloon was established in 1990. It covers an area of 345 square meters and has 165 seats. It holds three entertainment parties centered on Sichuan Opera every week and has been a vital part for the visitors. It is said that there was Sichuan Opera performance among the folk during the Ming Dynasty in the historiette. Yang Shengan-a famous scholar and poet, made a great contribution to the development of the Sichuan Opera. The formal formation of the Sichuan Opera was in the middle of the Qing Dynasty.
