Dazu Grottoes Will Spare No Expense to Build Up International Brand

World Cultural Heritage, Chongqing Dazu Grottoes will spare no expense to build up international brand. The good news came from the International Culture and Tourism Meeting of Dazu Grottoes that is in order to create "International Tourist Attraction", Dazu County has launched a series of key projects and the entire project will cost huge sum of money.

Zhou Bo, the head of Dazu County said that Dazu Grottoes as the World Cultural Heritage represents the highest achievements of the world grotto art. Dazu Grottoes, because of its scale, delicate statues and the rich content which including Buddhism, Taoism and Confucianism, known as the world-class art and cultural treasures. What's more, to make Dazu Grottoes a world shocking scenic area, Dazu County started several plans, comprising the rescue protection project of the Thousand-hand Bodhisattva, the construction of Dazu Art Museum and the Sport Center as well as the environment management of the core area of Dazu Grottoes. To proceed those projects, the government needs to invest 3.02 billion yuan. In addition, Dazu County will start to build a beltway for Dazu Grottoes Scenic Area the budget is more than 30 billion. Moreover, the total budget of the construction of Haitang Xiangguo History and Culture Town, Dazu five-star hotel, the Trade Center is more than 30 billion yuan too. Furthermore, the external propaganda also needs a large investment.
