Three Gorges Square is located in the center of Shapingba District of Chongqing, covering an area of 80,000 square meters. It is in the shape of cross, mainly consisting of four parts, the Landscape Garden of Three Gorges, the Celebrity Sculpture Garden, the Green Art Garden and Commercial Pedestrian Street.

Landscape Garden of Three Gorges Square

The Landscape Garden of Three Gorges is the core part of the Three Gorges Square. It is a miniature of the majestic scenery of Three Gorges Dam, representing the beautiful scenes of Three Gorges Reservoir Area and displaying the rich cultural atmosphere of Bayu. Inside the Landscape Garden of Three Gorges Square collects more than 20 human landscapes such as the grotesque stones of Three Gorges area, the wall displaying the culture of Bayu, plank roads of Three Gorges area, the pharos of Three Gorges area and the sight of migration of Three Gorges area.

The Water-Screen film is one of the most special scenes in the Landscape Garden of Three Gorges. 18 meters long and 25 meters wide, it is the largest water-screen film in western China, attracting crowds of people stopped to take a look at it.

The sight of stone tablets is another highlight in the Three Gorges Square. There are 23 poems engraved on the tablet, expressing the admiration for the Three Gorges of the poets both in the ancient and modern times and displaying the profound cultural foundation of the Three Gorges area.

Art Monument of Three Gorges Square

Art Monument of Three Gorges is the landmark of the Three Gorges Square. It is situated in the center of the Three Gorges Square. It was made of the Intercept stone in the shape of a tetrahedron with a height of 19 meters. Stabbing into the sky like a sword, the Art Monument of Three Gorges is towering and straight.

Celebrity Sculptures Garden of Three Gorges Square

Celebrity Sculptures Garden lies on the flat ground in the south of the Three Gorges Square. There are sculptures of many celebrities once living in the Shapingba District erecting in the garden. These 15 celebrities include Guo Moruo, Ba Jin, Feng Zikai, Bing Xin and so on. These sculptures show the fact that Shapingba District is the cultural district of Chongqing.

Green Art Garden of Three Gorges Square

Green Art Garden is adjacent to the Celebrity Sculptures Garden. There are green trees and fragrant flowers inside the garden all the year around-sakura in spring, Sophora xanthantha in summer, bougainvillaea in autumn and wintersweet blooms in winter. In the atmosphere of fresh air and clear environment with trees and flowers, you will feel that you are contacting with the nature closely.

Commercial Pedestrian Street of Three Gorges Square

Commercial Pedestrian Street is located in the northeast of the Three Gorges Square. Many world-famous companies and stores gather here on the Commercial Pedestrian Street. KFC, Mcdonald's, Pizza Hut, New century Department Store, the Wangfujing Department Store and bars and restaurants can be found with a total number of more than 1,000. This Commercial Pedestrian Street leads the trend of the time and meets the maximal demand of the local people and the tourists from home and abroad.
