Nanbin Road lies in the Nan'an District of Chongqing, close to the south bank of Yangtze River. It is on the opposite side of Yuzhong District across the Yangtze River. Nanbin Road is considered as the city park scenic area for tourism. It is 25 kilometers long and 160,000 square meters in area. Nanbin Road is a landscape avenue with full functions of defending floods and protecting the bank of Yangtze River, the city road, eating and drinking, entertainments and relaxation.

The statue of a giant hand holding a pair of chopsticks is the symbolic statue of Nanbin Road. From distance of the statue, you can see a bridge which is the first bridge in Chongqing, connecting the districts on the north bank of Yangtze River and the Nan'an District on the south bank of Yangtze River.

On Nanbin Road locates an open strap-shaped park, covering an area of 250 mu with a total investment of almost 100 million RMB. It is the biggest park at riverside in China. The park is themed on life and culture with the specialty of decorative lights. There is the longest musical decorative light and the biggest relief in the park. Nanbin Park is divided into 187 views and 6 scenic areas. These views and sceneries show the dock culture, Chongqing local customs, historical tales and so on.
