The Goose Neck Park lies on the Goose Neck Mountain in Yuzhong District of Chongqing. To its south is the Yangtze River and to the north is the Jialing River. It was called Goose Neck Park for its narrow and steep shape resembling a neck of a goose. It is the earliest private park in Chongqing with many famous tiny but exquisite attractions.

In the Goose Neck Park locates a Bonsai Garden. Inside the Bonsai Garden, there are more than 100 varieties of rare potted plants and miniature landscapes. All the potted plants and miniature landscapes form a picturesque forest.

Not far from the garden is a man-made lake called Banyan Lake. It is called so because there is an old banyan tree with thick and sturdy trunk growing on the bank of the lake. The lake is not big but very delicate and tranquil with green water and green duckweed floating on the water surface.

The Rope Bridge in Goose Neck Park lies across the Banyan Lake. It is the most famous scenic spot in Goose Neck Paik. Rope Bridge is a very tiny and exquisite bridge, built in the late Qing Dynasty. The two bridge railings were carved of stone in the shape of thick and solid ropes. With the delicate and unique shape, Rope Bridge is regarded as a typical classic bridge in the garden arts.

Nanyuan Garden in the park is densely shaded with trees such as camphor trees, ginkgo, pine trees, winter sweet, cassia trees and crape myrtle. With weird rockery under trees it has a flavor of pastoral life.

The newly-built tower Liangjiang (also called Overlook) Tower has eight stories. Standing on the top, visitors can enjoy a bird's eye view of the city at daytime, and a magnificent view at night.

Besides, the chrysanthemum show of the city, held in the park each year, displays hundreds of rare species of chrysanthemums.
