Transportation of Dazu County

The transportation of Dazu county is convenient. Visitors can go to Dazu County by both railway and expressway. It takes 1 hour from Chongqing Proper to Dazu County and 3 hours from Chengdu to Dazu County. Several highways which lead visitors to the attractions of Dazu have been built.

It is very convenient for visitors to go to Dazu. They can take plane to Chongqing or Chengdu, then take bus to Dazu.

Transportation of Dazu Grottoes

Dazu – Hualong – Baoding (Baoding Mountain), Milage: 15 kilometers

Dazu – Beishan Mountain, Milage: 2 kilometers. Visitors can go there by foot from Dazu County

Dazu – Nanshan Mountain, Milage: 3 kilometers. Visitors can go there by foot from Dazu County

Dazu – Dengyun – Shima – Shimen Mountain, Milage: 17 kilometers.

Visitors can choose to take taxi or walk to Beishan Mountain Grottoes. The flag-down fare of the taxi in Dazu is 3 RMB. There are shuttle bus from Dazu bus station to Baoding Mountain Grottoes. The fare is 3RMB/person.
