A group of ancient graves were found in Baoding Mountain, Dazu Grottoes. Dazu Art Museum carried out excavation and made sure of that these graves were from Ming Dynasty.
11 coffin chambers lied in a row and built with flagstones. There are relief carvings inside chambers. According to the research of the museum, these graves were built by two big families of Ming Dynasty.
The third chamber is the most characteristic one. The relief carving is a ancient house and it is a model of shrine in Ming Dynasty. This chamber is very valuable for the historical research of the culture and traditions of Ming Dynasty.
