Meaning of the Monument

People's Liberation Monument, situated at the intersection of Minquan road, Minzu road and Zhourong road, stands for peace and liberation. It is also the witness of the victory of the War of Resistance Against Japan and the liberation of Chongqing. Moreover, it is the only memorial monument for the victory of the War of Resistance Against Japan.
